Hooligans with filthy mouths & the latter
Today I was at the Commissary at the Air Force base over here shopping with my wife and little rat baby girl. I'm walking down an aisle and see these 3 happy children no older than 5. There are 2 girls and one boy. Their mother is walking about like mother goose in front of them looking for some cans of food as my wife and I are waiting for the old man in front of us to move his shopping cart out of the way. So the oldest girl of the children tells her 3 year old brother casually, "Shut up you stupid a--hole !" I couldn't believe what I was hearing and tried so hard not to laugh... a few seconds later the mother realizes that people heard what her daughter says, after she looked around, and tells her daughter to shut up. Then she says loud enough so everyone around can hear, "Don't you ever say that again !" The girl says to her mother, "I didn't say anything." And that was what I heard as I was walking away from the situation. Then there was just silence from everyone. I had a nice grimace the entire way down the aisle. The funniest part was that the mother really didn't care and she probably taught her daughter those words or let her watch MTV so she can talk like that at such a young age. Then when she's 15 she'll be walking down "D Street" wanting to be just like Pretty Woman (Julia Roberts) was to the Gerbil and later on find her Dirty Dancing partner (Patrick Swayze) to dance around and feel all special about herself like Hollywood teaches her. That is why I will beat my children with a switch. It is sarcastic and stupid comments like this, which I mention on purpose, that causes military police on base to follow me and pull me over to "randomly" search my car at 1 in the morning to make sure that I do not take drugs, cause anarchy, terrorism, or a crash from drinking alcohol. Yes it happened today just like the "random" urinalysis I had too.

Damn, I say bring back the switch! And public flogging too. (that wasnt a nasty metaphor)
"It's my life"!
Remember the commercial in the eighties about drugs, where the father asks his son with bloodshot eyes, holding a cigar box with drugs in it, "Where did you learn this from?" the kid says, "I learned it from you dad, I learned it from you!"
same thing with cursing
What the Bible says about Cursing
[Words are Important]
Psalms 34:13a keep your tongue from evil
1 Peter 3:10a For, "Whoever would love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil
Proverbs 4:24 Put away perversity from your mouth; keep corrupt talk far from your lips.
Proverbs 10:19 When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise.
Matthew 12:34-37 You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. 35The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. 36But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. 37For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned."
Matthew 15:11,18 What goes into a man's mouth does not make him 'unclean,' but what comes out of his mouth, that is what makes him 'unclean.' " 18But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these make a man 'unclean.'
Romans 3:13-15 "Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit." "The poison of vipers is on their lips." 14"Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness." 15"Their feet are swift to shed blood
Ephesians 5:3-5 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people. 4Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. 5For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a man is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Colossians 3:5-8 Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. 6Because of these, the wrath of God is coming (on those who are disobedient). 7You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. 8But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.
James 1:26 If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless.
James 3:1-12 Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly. 2We all stumble in many ways. If anyone is never at fault in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to keep his whole body in check. 3When we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal. 4Or take ships as an example. Although they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the pilot wants to go. 5Likewise the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. 6The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole person, sets the whole course of his life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. 7All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and creatures of the sea are being tamed and have been tamed by man, 8but no man can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. 9With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God's likeness. 10Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers, this should not be. 11Can both fresh water and salt (bitter) water flow from the same spring? 12My brothers, can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water.
